The checklist

What we actually do

This is the baseline workflow we follow on every full detail. Condition may require additional correction steps — covered in the tiers below.

  • Marine-safe wash + surface decontamination (salt, grime, film)
  • Non-skid deep clean (no shortcuts)
  • Clean out compartments + storage areas
  • Vinyl cleaned + protected (UV-focused)
  • Glass cleaned + polished (water spots as needed)
  • Metal/brightwork polished (stainless/chrome)
  • Electronics cleaned + protected (safe method)
  • Scum line removal (as needed)
  • Rust removal (as needed)
  • Final inspection + walk-through

Our process

Bow to stern, inside and out

Interior deep cleaning

Step 1

Interior deep cleaning

We start inside with a true interior reset using marine-grade products designed for vinyl, gel coat, and marine hardware. We remove grit, salt residue, and buildup from seats, seams, cupholders, compartments, and high-touch areas. If we find rust spots, we use a marine-safe rust remover to lift staining without harming surrounding surfaces. When needed, we’ll lightly polish interior gel coat areas to restore clarity and a clean, finished look.

Hull & exterior correction

Step 2

Hull & exterior correction

Next, we address the hull and exterior surfaces, where oxidation, sun fade, and waterline staining show up first. Every job starts with safe washing and surface prep. From there, we choose the correction method based on condition: compound + polish, or multi-stage correction with localized wet sanding where it’s identified in your quote.

  • Oxidation correction: Machine compounding and finishing polish on accessible gelcoat surfaces.
  • Buff & polish: Multi-stage finishing to bring back a deep shine.
  • Protection (optional): Add marine wax/sealant or a ceramic coating to help prevent rapid re-oxidation and keep the gel coat looking sharp.
Metal, glass & finishing work

Step 3

Metal, glass & finishing work

The difference between “clean” and “professional” is finishing work. We polish stainless, chrome, and brightwork where needed, clean and refine glass, and detail the areas most people overlook — so the boat looks complete, not just washed.

Our promise

Bleach-free, always

We do not use bleach. Bleach can dry, dull, and weaken marine materials over time. Instead, we use premium marine-grade products, such as Starke cleaners, compounds and protectants, designed to safely eliminate contaminants while protecting gel coat, vinyl, and trim.

Every product we use is chosen for performance and safety, and we’re always happy to explain our process before we begin.

How we determine your tier

We look at oxidation (chalkiness), water staining, scum line severity, surface clarity, and how long it’s been since the boat was polished. We’ll give you a clear recommendation and explain why — no surprises.

Our Full Detail isn’t just a cleaning — it’s a full reset and protection process designed for Florida conditions. You won’t just see the difference, you’ll feel it every time you step aboard.
